FyberSearch Newsletter #27 (11-01-04 through 11-19-04)
It has been a busy time at FyberSearch in the last few weeks. First the acquisition of FeedPlex (visit http://www.fybersearch.com/blog/news-link.php?post_filename=11-04/4-post.html ) and then the release of FyberSearch Web Thoughts.
FyberSearch Web Thoughts is a sentence search engine that allows you to see what various web pages have to say about your favorite issues. Here is a quote from the press release:
“FyberSearch Web Thoughts is not like a typical search engine where users enter a search query and view a list of links to (hopefully) the most relevant web pages. Instead, FyberSearch Web Thoughts takes a search query and displays the most relevant sentences followed by the source web page. Its primary purpose is not to find the most relevant web pages but to find the most relevant statements.”
You can try FyberSearch Web Thoughts by visiting http://www.fybersearch.com/wt
I am sure I will be updating it in the future so let me know how you think it can be improved.
